Lymph nodes in pelvic area?

Ive been doing some reserach and it seems as though i may have lymph nodes in my pelvic area. After giving birth i noticed them and they got really big then went away, all but one which has left an open hole in my skin Has anyone ever experienced this? I went to a doctor she told me to see my ob/gyn because she ahs never seen anything like that and didnt know how to treat it.
The hole has gotten bigger and is painful to walk at times
Answer:
swollen lymph nodes are a sign of infection. i encourage you to seek medical assistance for this problem. it seems the infection caused a cyst of some kind, like a big pimple or some people call it a boil. it is infection of some kind.
wow. YOU should for sure go to the hospital get it inspected and checked. look it up on the internet for more help
You need to be seen by a dr. Try another one if necessary. Do not delay.

Lung cancer anyone get cured that you know?

Answer:
The chances for a cure depend on what kind of cancer it is and whether it has metastasized or not, and probably the specific mutations of the cancer (specific to that person). I have known a lot of people who have died from it. And, I have known people who lived many years without "curable" cancer. But, it is generally a real tough fight.
My brother-in-law is all clear after 10-12 years
The two knew, no. Now my Mother has it. We'll see.
Yes, a guy that I worked with underwent chemo and has been cancer free for 16 years. Today, they are having great success treating many types of lung cancer.

Lumps in chest (only serious answers please)?

im in my early 20s and a female. in my upper chest above breasts.. in the pecs.. when i lift my arms. i can feel lumps in different areas and some are sore to the touch. what could it be besides the obvious... or if it is that... im scared what do i do
Answer:
i have the same problem and went to the doctor. she told me i have fibrosis breast disorder. she said that there are some things that will make my breast painful. smoking, caffeine, chocolate and my period. before you start worrying to much you should go to the doctor. that way you will know for sure instead of being misdiagnosed.
get yourself checked out ASAP. If its lumps then it could be cancer (sorry i know you know this)................but the earlier you get it diagnosed, the better your chances.
What you MUST do, and do immediately, is go see your doctor! It may be nothing, but the sooner you go and get it taken care of the better!!!
Check out this web site, the licensed Doctors will answer all of your medical questions for free. Even at that, it sounds really scary and I would get to a Doctor as soon as possible
http://www.WebMD.com
well, breasts are naturally lumpy...but anything larger than a pea or two should be checked out. you'll have nothing to lose if you get checked and just a simple check could save a lot!
The only advice that I would give you is please place your fear aside and think about your future and get to a doctor as soon as possible. It could be a number of things, but you need to know for your health and peace of mind.
Good luck to you.
get an x-ray done of this area
try to think positive not all lumps
are cancerous
do NOT wait for answers here... get urself to a doc immediately... lumps on chest/breasts may be an indication towards early stages of breast cancer... !!! act fast!!!
I bet you are pretty nervous about now after having read all of those answers. I would scared out of my mind. : )
Sounds to me that you have inflammed swollen lymph nodes/lymph glands. I have this problem under both of my underarms. I have a disease that affects my lymph nodes so I know it can be scary but I have also learned that if they are sore, not much concern, the ones that are not sore are the ones that you need to pay close attention.

Lump on my breast?

This is not a breast cancer, unless my doctor doesn't think so. It occured for no reasons at all. It's under my left breast. It hurts, not only the lilttle bump but the whole breast when I rub it against something. my doc said it's infected. what does it mean. and what are the medications to kill it?
Answer:
Lumps in a woman are often caused by fibrocystic changes, fibroadenomas, and cysts.

Fibrocystic changes can occur in either or both breasts. These changes occur in many women (especially during the reproductive years) and are considered a normal variation of breast tissue. Having fibrocystic breasts does not increase your risk for breast cancer. It does, however, make it more difficult to interpret lumps that you or your doctor find on exam. Many women feel tenderness in addition to the lumps and bumps associated with fibrocystic breasts.

Fibroadenomas are non-cancerous lumps that feel rubbery and are easily moveable within the breast tissue. Like fibrocystic changes, they occur most often during the reproductive years. Usually, they are not tender and, except in rare cases, do not become cancerous later. A doctor may feel fairly certain from an exam that a particular lump is a fibroadenoma. The only way to be sure, however, is to remove or biopsy them.

Cysts are fluid-filled sacs that often feel like soft grapes. These can sometimes be tender, especially just before your menstrual period. Cysts may be drained in the doctor's office. If the fluid removed is clear or greenish, and the lump disappears completely after it is drained, no further treatment is needed. If the fluid is bloody, it is sent to the lab to look for cancer cells. If the lump doesn't disappear, or recurs, it is usually removed surgically.

Other causes of breast lumps include:

Milk cysts (sacs filled with milk) and infections ( mastitis ), which may turn into an abscess. These typically occur if you are breastfeeding or have recently given birth.
Breast cancer , detectable by mammogram or ultrasound, then a biopsy. Men can get breast cancer.
Injury -- sometimes if your breast is badly bruised, there will be a collection of blood that feels like a lump. These tend to resolve on their own in a matter of days or weeks. If not, the blood may have to be drained by your doctor.
Lipoma -- a collection of fatty tissue.
Intraductal papilloma -- a small growth inside a milk duct of the breast. Often occurs near the areola, the colored part of the breast surrounding the nipple, in women between the ages of 35 and 55. It is harmless and frequently cannot be felt. In some cases the only symptom is a watery, pink discharge from the nipple. Since a watery or bloody discharge can be seen in cases of breast cancer, this must be evaluated by your doctor.
If you have not had a mammiogram, get one!!!! and if your doc doesn't think you need one switch docs and find someone who will listen to you! This could be something you don't want to ignore...however, with that being said, most lumps are benign (not cancerous), so if you have had all the test run, and they are negative for breast cancer, it could be fibrocystic (sp?) disease of the breast...especially if it is very sore during pms...also it could be an infected or clogged milk duct...if it's fibroids, take vitamin E that helps a lot!
I think your doctor should have answered your questions~~why didn't you ask your doctor?

Lump in lower abdomen?

i can feel a elongated lump (i'd say like the size of a mini hotdog) in my lower abdomen on the left side. i'm just wondering about what it could be (i'm going to see the doctor this week, but i'm curious). i have missed my last two periods, but there is no chance i'm pregnant. i even took a pregnancy test to make sure. i have been having abdominal bloating as well. any guesses?
Answer:
I wouldn't even venture to guess. Lumps are nothing to mess with and not guess at. Be sure to keep your appointment with the doctor. Prayers and good luck.
fiberoid tumor maybe

Lower side hurts. Any idea what it could possibly be?

Ok, so hi. This has been going on for about 3 months, give or take. It's not a constant pain, but when it does come around (at least once a day) they are small, sharp pains, mostly on my right lower side, around my hip bone. it mostly hurts after a meal or a snack when my stomach is full, and my belly pokes out from eating. i dont have a fever or anything else, and i went to the doc about it, didnt say much of anything, but said i would have a fever or be sick if it was my appendix.
Answer:
Try WedMD symptoms checker, you can put in all your symptoms and it will tell you what might be wrong
well i was gonna say your appendix but if you went to the doc already then i guess that can't be it. But dont forget that some doctors might miss it, so you might want to go to another doctor to get it checked out again, also i remember that at times i would drink a lot of water a little too much and would feel a sharp pain on my side because of it, so it could be that too, it has to do with your liver, hopefully you'll find out what it is... bye :o)
You are not giving enough info, I am a medical person, help me help you!
kidney
lower back
well im not sure if you drink a lot of sodas but if you do it could be a kidney stone.
Go to the doctor. It might be a bad back pain that you need to get medicine for. Go to the doc.
been to a gyn latley? i've had the same thing. found out i had a cyst on my ovary.
feel better!
poetic
the lower right side of your abdomen contains: appendix, colon, ovary, and part of the uterus.
that said, you need to be evaluated by a physician as there is no one that see into your belly via a computer. you will most likely need a urine and pregnancy test, blood tests, an x-ray, ultrasound, and CT scan.
if your own doctor cannot see you today, visit the ER.
I know it sounds weird, but it may just be gas. Try to get some GasX.
well, if they don't think it's your appendix, it might be an ovarian cyst or something. i get them from time to time and i have the same kind of pains. usually they go away on their own, but sometimes, they have to be removed. i would go see the gyn or call your doctor again if it worsens or continues to be bothersome.
Your preganant darling.....plain and simply your gonna pop out a bundle of joy in 6 months......9 minus the 3 months you've had the pain.
Have you noticed that the pain seems worse after a greasy or rich meal (high in calories like cheescake or something with a lot of cheese?) I had my gallbladder removed a couple of years ago and it was full of stones. Your description sounds absolutely NOTHING like an ovarian cyst ( I had those, too) or pregnancy (Mom to 2 boys). You are your greatest medical assistant. Keep a record of what you eat and the symptoms you experience for a couple of days and bring that to your doctor. If your insurance doesn't require a referral, you might skip a step and go see a specialist in GI.
as soon as you said low pain by the hip bone, it sounds most like an ovarian cyst. that location is where your ovary is. i had the same thing on the right side and freaked thinking it was my appendix, but the doc is right, if it were that you would be feeling a lot sicker and feverish. i didnt automatically go to my gyn because i didnt think it was related, but u have to. he did a pelvic exam, felt around and said it sounded like a cyst (after explaining my symptoms). had an ultrasound and sure enough, i had a couple of small cysts. they stopped hurting after about a month (one had ruptured). but going on for three months is no good. the gyn can diagnose it. .

Lower back pain?

got lower back pain had it quite a few days and its really starting to get to me, it doesnt hurt really bad but its always there if you know what i mean. im 14 and done karate for 4 years but never had a problem before. wat could it be and how can i help it?
Answer:
Impact sports, Karate, running,Kickboxing e.t.c can actually be quite bad for your back if not trained properly, constant stamping feet down hard, not bending and not turning or twisting properly can cause serious problems with your spine, and lower lumber area, you should see your G.P with any back problems. But try not to worry, at your age its probably only a strain or a pulled muscle, mechanical back as the Doc told myself for many years before .

I feel for you, i know what its like to have back pain.
Could be your kidneys - drink plenty of water %26 cranberry juice
If this doesn't help, then use a hot water bottle on it, or get massages.
It could be athritis - see your doctor.
You might just have pulled something. my recommendation would be to go see your doctor. you might just have to rest it for a few days and you'll be right as rain again! pain is your body's way of making you stop for a moment and think about what you're doing.
maybe ur having your period or u ve done a wrong move
You may have a urinary tract infection that has settled in your kidneys. Or you may have pulled something.
you could have strained a mucsel. ibuprofin and rest. heating pad. Try to do this before seeing a doctor as they will ask what you have done and tell you to this and if not better come back. pay 2 bills instead of 1
I studied Kickboxing and have also suffered lower back pain, I was told it was due to pressure put on my pelvis due to kicking etc..

Try seeing a doc or physio if it persists.
I would go and see your doctor but in the mean time drink plenty of water especially boiled water cooled down a bit as that is good for cleaning out your kidneys. Good luck
Go to your GP. xx
the best thing would be to go and see your GP

Lower Abdominal Cramping..from stopping the pill?

Hello! For the past month now, I have bad lower abdominal cramping. First it was a UTI, which i got treated for, got retested and the dr. said it went away, however I still have these cramps. I stopped taking BC back in january and im wondering if stopping the pill can cause cramps for months on end. I had two periods since, which consisted of HORRIBLE cramps, but i have cramps everyday now and Im not sure what its' from? Any help?
Answer:
i have been in the same boat as u ever since having a uti i have had daily cramps if u find out anything let me know plz
When I stopped taking bc pills I was trying to get pregnant so I noticed every single twinge in my belly hoping it meant there was a baby growing in there. I do remember having more crampiness though...particularly on the sides of my lower stomach.

Love handles..how do i get rid of them?

i am 5'4 and weigh 130 pounds.. I am not fat, but i have love handles and a pinch of fat above my tail bone..I dont want to starve myself... what should i do to lose them...I hope to get rid of this in 3 weeks to a month i would like to lose approxmately 7-10 pounds..How many calories should i eat and how many should i try to burn? what kind of excercise should i do..?
Answer:
This should really be in Diet %26 Fitness, but basically if you eat healthy and exercise regularly, the fat on your body should reduce.

You can't lose weight just in one spot, but doing cardio exercises and eating less calories will cause fat to burn from all over your body. To tone up a particular area, do exercises (such as ab and oblique exercises for tummy/sides) that target the area you want to firm up.

You can lose 1 - 10 lbs in a month if you are diligent. Put your calorie intake at around 1500 - 1600 a day (lean meat, fruits and veggies, complex carbs, and drink lots of water) and exercise at least 5 days a week (shoot for 1 hr a day if you can).

Once you hit your goal, keep up the healthy eating (just increase your calories a bit so you don't continue to lose) and keep up with the exercise so you'll stay fit!

Good luck!
okay, well all i can tell you is what worked for me, I am still working with my love handles, but they are not as big, I exercise on a stepper for 30 or more minutes a day, the first week i dropped like three lbs, and kept losing till i had lost 10 lbs, and well the last 6 lbs or the 16 i have lost, have been one lb a week. I also, quit eating red meat, no i am not a vegan, but the diet is close to that. I eat a fruit for breakfast, only drink water or green tea(they make good flavors), any snack is strictly fruit or veggie, lunch is a salad, and dinner well usually a salad and some veggies, i eat raw food as much as possible, no red meat, and if i do have meat it is fish, every great once in a while it is chicken. I don't have set time for my work out but have red that morning is best, and i do NOT eat any sugar, other than what is naturally in my fruits and veggies. You can throw in a few, and i do mean a limited amount of wheat crackers but know that you are getting carbs from your fruits, they are good carbs. Do not starve yourself, or the weight will come back faster and it will be more than you lost. If you need protein eat nuts, like almonds. the fish will also give you protein. Your energy will boost with this and if you have the time, spend it doing something productive.

Good luck.

Loss of appetite, fatigue and some nausia?

I just finished up with a horrible flu this weekend. Now out of no where I have been getting nausia, fatigue and complete loss of appetite. The nausia was back and forth last night and i finally threw up what was in my stomach last night. I feel pretty fatigued today and again no appetite. I am not pregnant, currently on birth control. Is there anything I can get or do to fix this??
Answer:
You may well have a bug on the back of the flu. Make sure you take extra precautions with birth control...vomiting and upset stomachs can affect the reliability of the pill.
Your symptoms might be left over from the few. Give it a couple days of rest to help your body fully recover. Drink some tea, eat some chicken soup and snuggle in bed with a good book or TV for the day and relax. Recovery should come soon.
you probably thought that you were done with the flu and were really just having that breaking period in between the flu where you feel fine before you get hit with the end of the storm so ride it and see if it subsides...if it doesnt i mean it could be the flu maybe you shouldnt mix flu medications wth the pill caused some type of reaction to that but i'd wait about a week to see if the flu is really truely over and then just ask a doc

Losing weight?

If I start walking alot and doing step aerobics, will this help get me going?
Answer:
of course! have you hear about pilates as well? it really does work, but be prepared it's alot of hard work too.
It will help but you will have to watch what you eat also. I read somewhere that losing weight is 70% dieting and 30% exercising.

Answer:
To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
I found useful informations at
Read tips %26 articles on different types of diets, exercise programs, yoga %26 much more....

All about weight loss, weight watchers, Tea diets, easy home exercises to name a few
by telling us not to tell you to exercise or eat right.. you basically ruled out every healthy solution to your weight loss question.

truthfully, losing weight the healthy way takes 6 weeks to see results. you are not going to lose any substantial amount of weight without hurting yourself by march 13th. my only advice is that you can drink more water %26 eat more healthy food until then so you're not as bloated. sorry hon, there's no way you can lose that weight. you basically ruled out every healthy alternative. i suggest you start lving a healthy lifestyle - eating right, working out, drinking water etc.. and you will be happier and never have this problem again in the future. good luck, be healthy

Lose it, drop it, show it?

I'm leaving for a hockey tourny April 13th, and chances are at the hotel we'll be swimming. I have a 2 piece, and not only am i going to be with an all guys team, but i want to feel confident enough to go with out a shirt and shorts over top of it.

Whats the best way to drop15-20 lbs before then. I weigh 145, I lost 8 lbs and now no matter what I do the scale wont budge.

And the 8 lbs i lost, you see no difference in the way i look. I play hockey 6 times a week, and try to get to the gym when I can (i recently twisted my ankle, so I haven't been too much gymming...and i probably should have been doing the hockey with it)

So whats the best and quickest way to help me lose the weight and lose some inches?

(f.y.i inches are 37-28-36)
Answer:
You don't say what your height is...
judging by your "measurements" are...you sound like you have a nice figure.

If you are athletic (hockey player and gym), you probably have a good bit of muscle mass and everyone knows that muscle weighs more than fat.

I would say that you probably are more concerned than you need to be about your weight. You sound like you are doing pretty well.

Good luck with the tourney, I hope you win.
i can't tell you
but whatever you do
don't go on a starvation or fad diet
you gain more weight then you lose when you go off it
its complicated body stuff that you don't really need to know
just don't do fad diets
aska doctor
they'll give you sensible diets
and get a trainer if you really care
they're the ones that made celebrities look good for the oscars

Lose 40 pounds I'm about 175. I want to lose 40 within 5 months.?

What are some good things to eat, do, and remember to spur my weight loss?
Answer:
You should be able to do that quite easily since it's only 8 pounds a month....and that's approx 2 pounds a week....that's within reason...
Cut out all flour and all sugar. I mean ALL flour. If it has flour in it (no matter if it's whole grain wheat or anything!), DONT EAT IT!
Ditto for sugar. If sugar (corn syrup, any "ose" fructose, etc) is in the first 4 ingredients, DONT EAT IT!
You can have fresh fruit, that's the only "sugar" you can have.
The weight will fall off of you.
And exercise 30 min a day--walking or something aerobic--even if you walk in place 10 min, 3x a day, that's a start!
first stop eating. cut it off. then exercise like a fiend. there you go about month and week you should be good =]
It is possible, but you will have to be very regimented about what you eat. Best bets are vegetables, low fat foods, lean meats, whole grain breads and pastas, and fat free or low fat milk products.

Also, you'll need exercise in there. You may want to start with 2 days a week and work up to 4 or 5. Definitely need some cardio, strength training, and flexibility training mixed in with all of that. If you join a gym, a lot will offer at least one personal training session for free. Take advantage of it. They can get you on the right track. Even if you have to pay for a session, one every month or two can help you get to your goals faster.
I have had the most luck with:

1) Using coconut oil daily
2) Raw brocolli
3) Tuna
4) Egg whites
5) Lots of water (which i find so hard to do, but a couple propels a day help me get my intake up)
dont pig out dont over eat on the junk food you need all the food groups dont starve yourself exercise its that simple and if u can eat 6 small meals instead of 3 big ones yes it sounds crazy but its better for you than 3 big ones
You didn't gain 40 pounds that quickly, and you can't lose that amount of weight that quickly, either. Not if you want to do so in a healthy a manner as is possible. In fact a healthy weight loss, on a consistent basis, would be no more than a pound a week. That means that in 5 months, you will be halfway to your goal. And that's a great start. It really, really is.

You know full well what you should and shouldn't be eating, though. Yes, you do, you just don't realize it. It's called a healthy diet, and it includes whole grains, lean meats, poultry, fish etc (if you insist on animal products - but you do need to remember that there is no animal product that meets the requirements of low fat, which is less than 2% of calories from fat) and plenty of fresh veggies with 2 - 3 servings of fresh fruits a day. You also need to include exercise as part of this equation.
I have a disease called Celiac Sprue. When I got diagnosed, back in late Sept. of 2006, I wore a size 14-16 in pants. (I am only 5 feet tall.) I was told that the ONLY thing to keep me healthy was to ELIMINATE gluten from my diet....that means ALL breads, pastas...anything containing wheat, rye and barley...even some oats. (Even gravy.) It's now Feb of 2007 and I am PROUDLY wearing a size 7! Give it a try....my mom and dad are doing it and losing weight continuously. They didn't completely eliminate it, like I HAD to, but they cut down considerably. Try this. I'm POSITIVE it will work. Try to stick to grilled meats, not breaded or fried. (This includes NO FAST FOOD!) Fresh cooked veggies and fresh fruits. Also, if you use oils for cooking, use olive or canola oil.

Longer periods after a tubal ligation?

I had my tubes tide in July of 06 and still today my periods are 10 days long with the first 3 days just spotting then 4 days of heavy bleeding and 3 days of spotting again. Then this month I had some spotting in between. I had a baby in may of 06 and no birth control after that and no birth control before baby.. MY periods have always been normal before and after i have had my kids. I have 3.
So is this normal and i should just deal with it or should i talk to obgyn about it?

Thanks for the help.
Answer:
Several of my friends and I have had the same problem. I have read some medical journals that speak of the 'probability' that Tubals increase heavy periods, but I think there's not much to be done.
I had my tubal 9 years ago, after my last child, and it sent me into terrible periods, and I developed endometriosis and PCOS.
What I have now is the Mirena IUD. It has the same hormones as Depo Provera, and it took 18 months, but it has finally made my periods manageable--about 6-7 days.I would often bleed for 25 days before I got it.
I'd see your GYN asap and see what can be done. I waited 7 years before I took action and I wish I'd gone to the Dr. much sooner.
Good luck
you arent getting yearly gyno exams???? you need to do that. sheesh.
I've talked to a few of my friends who had tubal ligation and they said that their periods became longer and heavier. I would definitely talk to your OB/GYN about this to see what they think.
I got my tubes tied/burnt 4 years ago. My periods are a lot heavier, but they don't really last longer. I don't think 10 days having a period is normal, I feel so bad for you, mine last 5 days tops. I may be wrong, just go to your D.R.

Loestrin 24Fe birth control pill?

anyone on it? any bad side effects?
Answer:
The side effects for me weren't as bad as other pills.

It worked really well until we decided to stop taking it to start on baby #2!

Honestly, it was great. For me it was only $10 (after insurance covered some it) and the side effects were mild. Usually I have a 2-3 month adjustment period with new birth control pills where my face breaks out or my hair gets oily but Loestrin was really nice.

Also...studies are showing that low esterogen birth control pills could be helping prevent uterine cancer!
it is not a birth controll pill it is a pill to help with cramps

Loestrin 24?

i just started loestrin 24, i was wondering how you guys who use it, like it?? pro's %26 con's? i know its different for everyone, but just wondering...
Answer:
I absolutely loved the loestrin and NEVER had a bit of problem. Periods were light, no mood swings, I can't say enough good about it!
I used LoEstrin for nearly 10 years without a complaint. Until I started to ease into perimenopause...then LoEstrin really amplified my symptoms. My doctor put me on YAZ and I've been much better.

But as for my time on LoEstrin, I liked it quite a bit.

Loestrin 24 fe?

ive been taking loestrin 24 fe and my period seems heavy and the first day was spotting now its been 2 days i dont see it clearing up by tommorow. anyone had this happen to them ? what is the longest someone has had one on this med
Answer:
I took a pill called Loestrin Fe 1/20 (a cousin to the one you have been taking) about 10 years ago and I had to stop taking it after about 3 months because I was having a lot of problems with bleeding while on it as well as some other issues.

I would recommend talking to your dr about this.
I just started taking this pill last month and I was on my period for 11 days. The doctor told me that it would get better, I'd just have to give it a few to six months for my body to adjust to it. Hope this helped! :)

Loestrin 24 and no period?

I just finished up my second pack of loestrin 24. Last pack I got my period on the second day of the brown pills. This month, I have finished up all of the brown pills and nothing aside from some heavy spotting on the second day of the brown pills. I take my pills at the same time, every day and have not missed a pill. Does anyone know what could be happening?
Answer:
when you take birth control enough, especially loestrin 24, it can stop your periods.

LoEstrin 24 and headaches...?

Hi...I was wondering if anyone had problems with headaches after being on loestrin for a month. I know I'm having problems with my contacts and maybe that's why I'm having the headaches....any thoughts?

I never had that problem on Loestrin, but I have had some problems with my contacts that caused some butt - kick'n headaches. I would try to fix the contact problem first wait a month and see if they still persist, if it still occurs contact your doctor he/she may wanna switch out your b/c.
GO TO OR CALL YOUR EYE DR.
i have that problem with my contacts, but go to the eye doctor he or she will help you
I completely understand what you are experiencing. Loestrin 24 can be causing contact lens incompatibility AND headaches. It is thought that birth control increases dryness of the eye, which makes the contacts difficult to wear. The headaches may eventually go away, but if they get to be a problem, you'll need to try a different brand of pill. I highly suggest Mircette, as it is known to be very good at reducing symptoms of PMS and reducing the occurrence of migraines
If you have headaches on new birth control tell you doctor they might have to change you to another one. I had to try about three different types before I found one that did not give me headaches.

Lightheaded,dizzy and brown discharge ???

im not due for my period for another 9 days and today ive been feeling lightheaded, dizzy and i also have brown disscharge. Im not on the pill anymore i stopped it last month
Answer:
This coloured discharge is probably to do with after you being on the pill, coming off the pill your hormones are a little screwed up and need time to sort out, this means your periods will probably be irregular for the next couple of months [and you may get spotting - spots of blood between periods].While being on the pill, women are more likely to develop yeast infections, this might also be a cause. As for the lightheadedness and dizziness, if this continues I would see a doctor. I don't see how this can be part of your body coping with coming off the pill. Unless you're really stressed at the moment or your diet isn't what it should be, I'd be worried if this carries on.

Hope this helped.
I think your getting your period....
i think it is ok, with you just coming off the pill things will be a little irregular for a while, try not to worry, of course if you are not happy, go and have a chat with your gp, hope you are ok.
are you pregnant??
why ask on here get to doctors
you may be pregnant
It may sound silly, but do you use tampons?and if so are you absolutely sure you havent left one inside you?I ask because years ago i kept feeling dizzy and had a horrible watery brown discharge, when my doctor eventually checked downstairs he found id left a tampon in!it was more embarassing than anything, but could have been really serious if id developed toxic shock syndrome.Hope you get sorted!
go the doctors brown discharge is not normal

Light tampons.?

Does any one know where i can find boxes of ONLY light tampons? i can not find them, but i have not looked at wal-mart or k-mart so maybe they have them there. can you help me?
Answer:
Tampax has them, they are purple. Also, platex sport tampons are really small. But get regular. Hope this helps. -Rayna
I have been looking for them also they seem to only sell in a variety pack. The Wal-Mart here only sells their own brand of light which have cardboard applicators which I do not like.
I don't know about light tampons. I have never seen them in a box all by themselves. You might try Tampax slender. they are pink, and as far as I can tell about the same as the lights. and you can buy entire boxes of just them.
i found them in wal-mart....if your store doesn't have them, call
1-800-WALMART, and request them for your store.
also, tampax offers a "slender regular"
hope this helps!

Less hairy?

Are Asian girls less hairy?
Answer:
Asia is a very large area.
Indians are Asians too, so are Russians, Afghanis, etc.
Many of those ppl are considered normally hairy.

Southeast Asians seem to be a little less hairy but I've seen some very hairy SE Asians, so nothing is for sure.
asians are more hairy
dont look on chinese and japanese
look into indians pakisthanis iraqis etc
Not really. I'm sure some are though . Girls of every race can be hairy or hairless. Keep in mind most girls these days are very into hair removal so you will probably very rarely see a girl au naturel
ummmmm, yeah, akward question... but i would have to agree with xyz, that far east asians may not be, but middle eastern-ers sometimes are. (NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE!!!!!)
OMG Don't worry bout it..
Chinese, Korean and Japanese girls are generally much less hairy than Americans. Actually, the same applies to the males. Girls from these areas almost never have a moustache and most have legs which are completely hair-free.

On the other hand, girls from the Indian sub-continent as a general rule have heavily-hairy legs and it is normal for girls from that area to have a male-type moustache and sideburns -- they normally remove the moustache.

LEGS: WAXiNG OR SHAViNG??

i SHAVE MiNE BUT iT DOESN'T TURN OUT AS SMOOTH AS i WANT iT TO TURN OUT? AND iT STiLL LEAVES LiTTLE HAiRS..
HOW MUCH DOES WAXiNG HURT? AND CAN YOU PLEASE COMPARE iT TO ANOTHER PAiN YOU'VE EXPERiENCED SO i GET A BETTER iDEA?

THANKYOOH_X_
Answer:
Don't worry about the pain. You're a girl and can handle it just fine. The benefit of waxing is that the hair grows back finer and thinner. The first wax is a bitchh but after that it gets easier. Once you have been through it a few times, you won't even notice the pain.
Why do you want it to do?Legs are not floors.
waxing is always better and durable
maybe you need a better raser for shaving, waxing hurts a little it can be expensive if you are getting all of both of your legs done. i personally think you are better off shaving, or use hair removal product you put it on and wipe it off, it works pretty good hope this helped
waxing. And it really depends on you. It doesnt hurt that much the third time where as the 1st and 2nd it does
hm i use to wax my legs..
didn't like it much, it was to much of a hassle.
But there was no pain, unless you did it wrong.
If you decide to go to a profession, than you should be fine.
After a bit i used nair, which was a bit of a hassle also.
It takes up sum time if you`re in a hurry!
It also made my legs pretty itchy.

Finally, i just started shaving and that's what i've been doing ever since.

it's convenient, b/c you`re in the showers anyways :]
maybe you don't get that smooothes because your razor and worned out? I shave with body soap [b/c i dnt find a point in buying shaving cream if soap works the same]
and after i just apply lotion :]

smooth as a baby's bottom!

hope this kinda helped.
it doesn't hurt that much... it's like a mild scrape, but it hurts only for a minute or two, it'll go away soon and your legs will look and feel great! if u get a stingy sensation after waxing use a non alcohol based ultra moisturizing cream, it will help
exfoliate your legs prior to doing either.... buy those little gloves for about a dollar anywhere and scrub your legs and thighs.. never do this to your face... WAXING is 100x's better... leaves your skin smoother.. the hair will grow in finer and thinner ... Waxing is esp. true for women with coarse hair... these types of hairs tend to become ingrown alot and leave little bumps when shaving.. there sometimes is more than 1 hair growing out of an individual follicle.. anyways.. Waxing is better it does hurt and the 1st couple of times you will find.. that after a few days.. you still have little hairs.. this is because they were not superifical or able to be pulled out or shaved off at the time you did it.. if you keep waxing over time..you will be as smooth as ever .. ALWAYS... i personally should wax all the time.. but tend to start in late winter or early spring.. wax all summer . and then shave over the winter but recommend waxing all the time...Waxing does hurt ... I cant say it doesnt.. but gets more managable after time... i rec a good place that uses good wax.. and is a calming type enviroment such as a spa.. then having a massage or facial afterwards... and a great lunch... makes you get rewarded after your punishment.. but... can be expensive...
its always better to wax....n its worth taking the pain..try it once ,if u cant bear it thn continue to shave or try sum hair removing creams.......
i use something called the silk epil
i'd say that waxing though
the silk epil is like waxing but better
shaving makes the hair grow back but THICKER!!!
the silk epil helps by pulling out the hairs right from the root
i know it sounds painful... but you get used 2 it
you can prob get the silk epil @ your local CVS or other pharmacy
NO the shave is the best it doesnt hurt the ocsional snip but it rely works best love from India
Half an hour before taking your daily bath, apply a paste of turmeric and rose water on all your body parts where you don't want hair to grow. In a month you will see reduction in hair growth. over a period of time, hairy parts will have very little hair on them giving the skin a smooth look and touch.
Waxing is so painful esply in legs. So if u can handle it, do it once %26 then can continue with shaving. But shaving needs more care. Apply lather %26 then shave.
waxing is not as bad as people make it out to be try it once you have done it once your legs will get used to it,the only problem is you will have to grow your leg hair a bit b4 you go. good luck
waxing w/o doubt
shaving makes hair stiffer
if u wax it's smoother and d hair don't grow back stiffer
it does hurt but if u get it dun 4rm some place where dey know dere job it hurts as much as pinching
WAXING IT IS.ABOUT THE PAIN I DONT EXPERIENCE MUCH .IT FEELS LIKE TEARING A PIECE OF CLOTH.

Left-sided chest pain radiating to back/shoulder blade?

Could this be secondary to accidentally taking one 1080 mg tablet of Urocit-K (my husband's medicine)? I thought I was taking my multivitamin which looks almost identical. I just left it alone and went to bed, and now I have this pain described in the title which comes and goes. It's seeming to detensify a little bit, maybe.

Additional Details:
* I am a 35-year-old female.
* I have lost 85 pounds and have about 35-40 more pounds to lose.
* My blood work is picture-perfect except for slightly low thyroid, including cholesterol total of 146 and fasting glucose of 70.
* I am on Dilantin, Nexium, levothyroxine (0.25 mg), and multivitamin.
* I have a home blood pressure machine and my reading just now was 117/72 with a heart rate of 85 (with no abnormal heart rhythms, according to the machine. (Side note: I have no history of high blood pressure, but my dad does and my mom did, so I still take my pressures every day even though they're always normal.)
Answer:
First call your doctor or pharmacist. It could be a serious reaction.
I agree with the other poster that you need to get in touch with your dr and pharmacist about this issue.

Left side of my body hurts & behind my left breast is it heart or lungs especially get worst when anxious?

Answer:
It could be that you are dealing with something called costochondritis which is an inflammatory condition of the cartilage around the ribcage.

I would recommend checking with your dr to be on the safe side to see what could be causing this.
Sounds like an anxiety attack,if so it is easily treated , go to your GP and tell him about your pain.

Answer:

you jsut have a late cycle. wait a couple of days.

Late period?

i'm 27, always late..i get it like once every 4 months..when i do get it..it's normal flow...and lasts about 5-6 days...is it normal to get it every so often? if not..why does this happen?
Answer:
I was exactly like that in high school, once I came to college it got more normal, but not normal enough. The pill was the best help for me. This could be a sign of polycystic ovarian syndrome, hypothyroidism, or a number of other conditions--have it checked out.
you might want to check with a doctor. It may be normal for you, but it may be something that needs attention.

Late period?

i'm always late..i get it like once every 4 months..when i do get it..it's normal flow...and lasts about 5-6 days...is it normal to get it every so often? if not..why does this happen?
Answer:
Well, to me, no, it doesn't really seem normal, because, like you know, most of us get them around every 28 days or so... if you have checked everything out with your doctor %26 they say its normal then i guess you've got nothing to worry about.

Get them to put you on a pill if you want to try %26 regulate them....

but, i wish i only got mine every 4 months!!
that happens to me to. ive been told it takes 2 years for a period to normalize and to happen every month. in a couple of years ur period should b normal.
